I can’t tell you how many times I am friended on Facebook by someone I do not know personally yet and they have their privacy settings locked down so tight, I am unable to decide if I wish to accept. Worse are the social media industry folks on Twitter that actually set their account to private, requiring them to approve anyone to view their tweets. Are you serious?
It’s pretty simple… If you are using social media for business and you are locking down your privacy settings on social networks, you are simply putting your business in a safe. Most customers or vendors are not going to attempt to crack your safe just to have a relationship with you. Take a hint from today’s photo.

Anyone notice the amount of images being posted on Facebook since the recent changes, then the new timeline? Notice the photo’s with all the motivating messages with people holding signs? We did too…
Social media is powerful. Add images and graphics to the medium and it gets even more powerful. Have a laugh about today’s social graphic and remember to incorporate images and humor into your social media marketing for great results!
